Rachel Box holds an M.S. in Biomedical Writing from the University of the Sciences and a B.A. in Journalism from Loyola University in Maryland. In addition to her appointment at the University of the Sciences, she is the Director of Editorial Services and Senior Editor for the Johns Hopkins Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and a former lecturer in the Professional Writing Program at the University of Maryland. She is a board-certified Editor in the Life Sciences and a member of the American Medical Writers Association. Rachel also works as an author’s editor for scientific manuscripts and writes and edits health content for the web on a freelance basis. Rachel lives in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband and daughter.
