Synopsis
Bruce Canaday is Professor and Chair, Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration at the College of Pharmacy of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. His major practice interest area is pain management.
He is a Fellow of the American Society of Health-system Pharmacists (ASHP) and served on the Board of Directors from 1994-2000, including three terms on the as Chair of the ASHP House of Delegates and on the ASHP Board of Trustees from 2002-2005 and served as ASHP President and Chairman of the Board in 1998-1999.
He is a Fellow of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) through the Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management (APPM) and served as the Chairman of the Academy's Clinical/ Pharmacotherapeutic Section. He served on the APhA Board of Trustees from 2002 - 2008 and as President and Chairman of the Board in 2006-2007.
