Synopsis
Dr. Leonard brings 10 years of clinical practice experience in the acute care and correctional settings to his position. He has been a physician assistant educator for many years with the Saint Francis University (Clinical Coordinator) and Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital (Associate Director) programs.
Dr. Leonard is actively involved in online education with Saint Francis University’s master of health/medical science programs as well as a clinical trial implementation course with the University of California - Berkeley.
He has been involved in the clinical research industry as a consultant monitor for the past decade with a specialty in the interventional cardiology device and vascular fields with companies like Boston Scientific, Cordis, Crux, TherOx, and Abiomed.
Dr. Leonard received a bachelor of science in pre-medicine from Pennsylvania State University. He completed his physician assistant training and received his master’s degree from Saint Francis University and received his Doctorate of Health Science from Nova Southeastern University.
