Research Interests

Professor Packel’s research interests include cancer related fatigue, exercise in the cancer survivor, cystic fibrosis, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.

Synopsis

Professor Packel teaches a number of classes in the DPT curriculum including pathophysiology, exercise physiology, cardiovascular and pulmonary PT, and oncology rehabilitation.  She has won the Educational Bright Idea Award for teaching and has been nominated for the Lindback Teaching Award.

Professor Packel has been a practicing physical therapist for over 15 years.  She is an APTA Board Certified Specialist in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary and has an interest in cancer rehabilitation.
