Healthcare Navigation Career Opportunities
Your Healthcare Navigation Certificate will open doors to rewarding health careers with unlimited potential.
Overall employment of healthcare navigators is expected to grow faster than average for all occupations in the coming years. Kiplinger recently noted Healthcare Navigation as one of the top 13 careers in the next decade.1
Demand will increase due in part to regulations. For example, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act called for formalizing the role of healthcare navigators to help people and businesses enroll in health insurance using the government exchange. And beginning in 2015, the Commission on Care requires all cancer care facilities to implement a healthcare navigation process as part of its accreditation standards 2.
No matter which career path you choose, you will positively affect people’s lives by reducing barriers to the care and answers they need.
